How they help:
Lady McAdden is proud to be the only Breast Cancer Charity in the UK to currently offer one to one support with a nurse for Breast Awareness appointments, both remotely and face to face.
They provide self-referred breast awareness consultations to women who are 18 and over with specialist nurses. They provide confidential breast awareness advice via a face-to-face appointment (for local women, in normal times) or secure video appointment or telephone call to any woman who wants one, without having to see a GP first.

UNICEF
“The United Nations Children’s Fund, works to build a better world for every child, every day, everywhere.”
£1,841.00 donated
Their mission:
UNICEF provides more children with clean water, life-saving therapeutic food and vaccines, education and protection from violence than any other humanitarian organisation.
UNICEF works with families, local communities, organisations and governments in more than 190 countries to help every child realise their full potential. In everything they do, the most vulnerable children and those in greatest need have priority.
How they help:
UNICEF is a multilateral child-rights organisation established by the UN with 70 years of field-tested expertise, a network that spans the globe, a passion for innovation and a commitment to make every penny count. Impartial and non-political, UNICEF is never neutral when it comes to protecting children’s rights and safeguarding their lives and futures.
UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, reaching the furthest from help, the most disadvantaged and the most at risk. UNICEF saves children’s lives with vaccines, clean water and therapeutic food. UNICEF protects children from violence, exploitation and abuse. And UNICEF helps children fulfill their potential, by supporting quality education and training. UNICEF works for every child, to build a better world for everyone.

Save the Children

a better place. To help them learn, grow and become who they want to be.”
£920.69 donated

In the UK and around the world, Save the Children make sure children keep safe, healthy and learning. They believe that every child is full of potential, and work to help them have a fair chance in life, changing the future for good. To help them learn, grow and become who they want to be. No matter where they’re growing up, they find a way to reach the children who need them most.
How they help:
Save the Children are helping get families in Turkey and Syria the food, warm blankets, winter clothes and shelter materials they need to survive. They are setting up safe spaces for women and children, and getting psychological support to children so they can start to process their terrible experiences.

Create
“A multi-award-winning charity empowering lives, reducing isolation
and enhancing well-being through the
creative arts.”
£920.69 donated
Their mission:
To use the creative arts to connect, empower, inspire and upskill society’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable people, raising aspirations, building selfesteem, reducing isolation and enhancing wellbeing.
How they help:
At Create their focus is on engaging the UK’s most marginalised participants in inspiring, sustainable arts programmes in areas where provision is poor and engagement in the arts is therefore low.
To ensure they reach the most disadvantaged and vulnerable participants in areas of greatest need, they prioritise partner organisations that receive little or no provision from other arts providers.
They select these using poverty indices and government statistics on areas of deprivation alongside data including: disability; pupil premium/entitlement to free school meals; and use of English as an additional language.
Their mission:
The climate crisis we currently face is the greatest threat we have ever known. Dangerous climate ‘tipping points’ have already been reached and there isn’t a place on Earth that won’t be affected.
One of the most effective ways to tackle this climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They are also crucial in preventing ecological collapse.
How they help:
Our Million Tree Pledge is a progressive initiative to conserve, restore or grow one million trees worldwide by 2030.
We are privileged to be supported by Ecologi to help turn our Million Tree Pledge into reality by ensuring the right trees are planted in the right places, have been verified for the maximum positive impact, long-term survival and to protect and enhance the natural biodiversity.
We are also part of the “Million Tree Pledge” a community of like-minded organisations who have also pledged to plant one million trees.
The other part of our promise is to find at least two other people or businesses to get involved and pledge to plant one million trees too!
